Crafty off the bounce creator on the perimeter who had a number of strong finishes both inside and outside of the arc; did well to mix things up in his approach and attack and kept defenders guessing at all times with his ability to size things up on the perimeter, get downhill and create shots for himself

This 2030 guard was one of the best I saw in Rock Hill. He was lighting-fast with the ball in his hands all game long, looking to get out and play in the open floor or beat defenders off the bounce in the half-court. Harmon is a good processor at speed, and he’s just as comfortable setting others up as he is scoring himself. Mix in some on-ball defensive production, and there was a clear formula for success that was executed by Jaylen on Sunday.

Jaylen Harmon Jaylen Harmon 5'9" | PG Irmo | 2030 SC leads off this list of breakout players at the Carolinas Freshman Showcase. This was my first introduction to Harmon and his game, and he left a great first impression on me. He was excellent at speed all game long, getting out in transition and beating defenders off the dribble. Along with his pace with the ball, Jaylen has a balanced offensive game with an ability to set others up, finish creatively at the rim, or knock down jump shots. Harmon is definitely a name to know out of South Carolina’s 2030 Class going forward.
