We highlighted Lucas as a “new emerging name” following his strong play at the Prep Hoops Indiana Freshman Showcase. The 5’8″ point guard from Castle High School quickly put his ball handling and passing abilities on display in 5-on-5 play. He consistently threw the hit ahead pass in transition to start the break, made good decisions off of two feet at the end of his drives, and was an all-around reliable lead guard for his team. Lucas will definitely be one to follow in the coming years down in the greater Evansville area.

Yet another prospect from the Evansville area, Lucas was an impressive point guard at the Prep Hoops Indiana Freshman Showcase. The 5’8″ floor general was in constant control offensively displaying his ball handling skills, smooth change of pace with the ball, and impressive passing ability. He made several great passes both in transition and in half court while also proving his ability to score as well. Lucas is a sneaky athletic lead guard that made plays for his team throughout the event. He is definitely one to track in the freshman class at Castle High School.
