The 2028 AZ class is absolutely loaded. That said, prep schools are constantly bringing in players for their national rosters, which makes it even harder for AIA kids to improve the rankings. But these kids made their mark throughout S7 and Nevada/California Live, as well as their respective AAU circuit sessions. As of right now, all of these players on the list have been garnering lots of Division 1 and Division 2 interest.

[player_tooltip player_id='2301235' first='Rhys' last='M. Robinson'] Pinnacle:

An athletic wing who continues to elevate his play. Rhys runs the floor extremely hard and looks to fill lines. He attacks the basket relentlessly, trying to score. He utilizes the catch-and-shoot 3-ball often. Rhys' wingspan allows him to guard faster guards and still recover in time. He will be a very crucial piece for Pinnacle's success this season.

[player_tooltip player_id='2466738' first='Dewey' last='Henry'] Elite Sports Academy:

An elite scoring point guard who can get a bucket with ease. Dewey is able to score at all three levels. He is an elite shooter who can hit off the catch and shoot and the dribble pull-up. Despite his ability to score, Dewey still looks to get others involved as well. He plays tough on-ball defense, forcing opponents into careless mistakes. As he transfers over to Elite Sports Academy, it will be interesting to see how he looks in the P32 high school league.

[player_tooltip player_id='2386978' first='Jaydon' last='Hayes'] Willow Canyon:

A strong physical guard who is continuing to thrive in his role. Jaydon has been a combo guard since entering high school, but this coming season he is making the transition to being a true point guard. Jaydon will be able to punish smaller guards who aren't physically strong enough yet, but he'll also be able to blow by bigger defenders. He always has his head up and is looking for his teammates often. Alongside his passing abilities, he is going to be able to score it with ease this season. He will be on triple-double watch all season and should be a name to watch.

[player_tooltip player_id='1873639' first='Grant' last='Mattingly'] Central:

Grant is a pure point guard who has an elite feel for the game. He has next-level vision and can see the floor one play ahead. Grant is a pass-first guard who always wants to get his teammates going before him. Once he starts to attack, he can get downhill with ease and use his footwork to finish in the paint. He is a plus three-point shooter who will look to shoot them often. He is another kid who should be on triple-double watch all season long for Central.

[player_tooltip player_id='2693801' first='Dane' last='Montague'] Perry:

The big man has made tremendous strides throughout his first 2 years of high school. Dane uses his frame to set great screens and then roll hard to the basket. He has a soft touch near the hoop and uses that to convert on a lot of little push shots and layups. Defensively, he is able to guard his position and does a great job protecting the basket. Dane should continue to improve throughout the next two high school seasons.
