This big is undervalued and shows real defensive awareness. He rotates well contests shots or blocks them seals off space and takes advantage of smaller defenders. For his size he is surprisingly mobile and can move effectively. His frame allows him to hold position against stronger opponents while still recovering quickly on switches.

Jamieson is a strong, hard playing big man who brings a physical presence to the frontcourt. He has good footwork and touch around the basket and is especially effective scoring over his left shoulder on the block. Jamieson can also step away from the rim and knock down shots from 15–17 feet, adding another dimension to his offensive game. He rebounds effectively in his area and uses his size and strength to alter shots in the paint.
