The best part of summer and being assigned to the younger age groups is getting a glimpse into the future of basketball in the state. Every year, new names emerge and begin to make their mark, and the talent on display at The Tune Up proved that the future is in good hands. From high level skill and athleticism to confidence and competitiveness, these 14U standouts didn't disappoint and showed why they're players to keep an eye on moving forward.    Kuntz put together a strong weekend for Team Daum and was a major reason behind their success. He made his biggest impact by turning defense into offense by consistently creating extra possessions with active hands, rebounds and hustle plays. Once he secured a board, he wasted no time pushing the pace and attacking. Around the rim Kuntz played with confidence and strength, finishing through contact while making life difficult for defenders. He also battled relentlessly on the glass, giving his team valuable second chance opportunities and ending possessions defensively. His nonstop energy, toughness and motor were contagious, helping spark his teammates and making him one of the more enjoyable players to watch     Gutierrez continued to prove why he's such an impact player for Tru Colorado North this weekend. At 6'4”, he combines excellent size with high level athleticism, making him one of the most dynamic players on the floor. He affected the game in every phase, crashing the glass, handling primary point guard duties, and creating offense with confidence. His quick crossover into a pull up three was a weapon he knocked down consistently, forcing defenders to respect his shot. Once they stepped up he attacked off the dribble, blowing by defenders and finishing strong at the rim. His versatility and ability to impact the game in multiple ways make him a difference maker every time he steps on the court     Elder played with confidence every time he stepped on the floor for State 38 United. He did an excellent job attacking off the dribble, putting pressure on the defense and creating opportunities for both himself and his teammates. His vision stood out as he consistently made the right read and delivered sharp, timely passes to keep the offense flowing. Defensively he was active in the passing lanes, coming up with steals that quickly turned into transition chances. Elder's poise, playmaking ability and willingness to make winning plays gave his team a steady presence and made him an impactful guard throughout the weekend     Harris was the definition of toughness and determination for Olympic City throughout the weekend. He played with relentless energy, never giving up on a play and constantly finding ways to impact the game. His grit showed on both ends of the floor as he battled for loose balls, competed on every possession and always seemed to be around the action. Offensively he came through with multiple big baskets at key moments and displayed the ability to score from all three levels. Whether attacking the rim, knocking down mid range shots, or connecting from deep, Harris consistently gave his team a spark with his competitive approach and fearless mentality     Tres was a major difference maker for Colorado Swoosh with the toughness and effort he brought every time he was on the court. He embraced the physical side of the game, fighting through traffic and never backing down from contact. Whether attacking the basket or battling for loose balls and rebounds, he consistently did the dirty work that helped his team win. Offensively he showed a strong scoring ability, finishing through defenders and making the most of his opportunities. His relentless motor, physicality and willingness to make the hard plays gave his team a spark in their contests and made him one of the toughest competitors to watch all weekend
