Charlie Hughes Showcase: Kyler’s Player Notes Part 5

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>There is no better event on the calendar from an evaluation or recruiting standpoint than the annual IBCA/IHSAA Charlie Hughes Showcase. This past weekend, which was a live evaluation period for Division I college coaches, most of the best teams in the state of Indiana will competed at Carmel and Westfield High Schools for an absolutely excellent three days of basketball. Prep Hoops Indiana had boots on the ground coverage from the opening tip-off to the final buzzer all weekend long. Got a chance to watch HBL vs Austin in what was a fantastic game on Sunday afternoon and the one thing is clear, the senior guard is the guy and has the green light to be the guy. Goof things happen when HBL has the ball in his hands. Seen Ford multiple times throughout the years and I always am so impressed with his elite explosiveness on the ball. He knows how to dictate the pace of the game and is just a blur in the lane. The senior wing out of Brebeuf Jesuit is a 6'5 prospect that is super versatile on the floor. He is one of the more natural athletic wings in the state while being a guy that can be smooth as an outside as well. Washington is another quick guard in the backcourt that is very shifty for his 6'0 size. Really good handles on the ball and can play pretty well off of it is also. The last Charlie Hughes for one of the best guards we have ever seen went out with a bang and Zachary put up the performance in every game like you would expect him too. He proved how great of a point guard he was in front of every D1 coach that was in the gym during the weekend. Zachary is in for a great senior season and an even better college career. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- /wp:acf/evaluation-block -->
