Trameill turned in a truly dominant performance on opening night, carrying his team to a first round win. The freshman guard has great strength and size for his age and position, being able to get downhill and attack the basket, finishing strong through traffic. He has a quick first step and put together some impressive dribble combinations to work around his defender. White is also a knockdown shooter and was connecting on some very difficult pull-up jumpers from the perimeter.

Mason is a player that can impact winning in many ways and he turned in a well-rounded performance last night. He scored from all three levels, being able to use his strength to work inside off the dribble or on putback layups coming off of offensive rebounds. He looked confident shooting it from deep, knocking down a triple off the catch and a pull-up and-one mid-range jumper. Dominiack was also a high effort defender and was great at creating for others.

Trevan was another freshman prospect that can use their skills to impact winning, as he was doing it all for Minnesota Rise in a hard fought win in the opening round. He was an aggressive attacker and good things happened when he would get downhill. He could convert on some tough finishes and was hitting teammates with accurate kickout passes for open three-point looks. Mathews was hustling around and making plays happen all over the floor.

Isaac started his team's opening round matchup on fire, as he came out and scored the first 8 points of the game. He was hitting on catch-and-shoot looks from the perimeter, and working inside for baskets. He is very smooth and under control when creating for himself, being able to convert with a variety of different crafty finishes at the rim. The offense ran so much better with Rose on the floor, as he is a very smart and skilled guard prospect.

Landon showcased a lot of long-term potential in the game I caught, as he has a long 6'6” frame and showed some flashes of his ability to create using the dribble. He put together a very impressive behind the back dribble into a touch finish at the basket over a defender in transition. Chambers could also use his length to be a difference maker inside, grabbing rebounds and altering opponents shots.

Muurinen did not have his greatest game, but the tools for a high level big man are there. He is currently around 6'6”, but will more than likely be a seven-footer when he is done growing. He was at his best when finding open teammates with impressive passes, as he already has great vision. He could hold it down in the paint on the defensive end, picking up a few bigtime blocks. He could also go to work his back to the basket in the post. Miska is the younger brother of five-star Arkansas commit Miika Muurinen.

Owen was a microwave scorer for Minnesota Rise last night, heating up throughout stretches of the game. He could not be left open from three, as he has a quick release of his shot and was hitting from the perimeter at a high clip. With his shooting threat, Drill could blow by defenders closing out too hard, working inside for touch finishes as well.
