is among the premier 2028 prospects in the state. He has all the tools to be an impact high-major lead guard at the next level. The Richwoods star first jumps off the floor at you with his off the charts athleticism. It's a level you do not see out of lead guards. He shows it off with his speed in the open floor, playing above the rim, change of direction on a dime, and using it defensively. Big time burst with the rock off the bounce getting to the cup and his vertical jump is insane! Plus shooter that is especially effective with his pull up game from beyond the arc pouring in pull up triples one after another. He is a silky smooth shot creator who creates space with ease. His passing continues to improve each time we see him as he showed at Windy City War throwing passes on the money with feel and zip in both the half court as well as open floor. Brings the intensity on the defensive end as well getting steals and blocking shots.
How did his sophomore season go for Richwoods?
“It was big. Of course I came into the year with a chip on my shoulder coming in every day and beating whoever is in front of me was key.”
They made a run all the way to the super sectionals winning crazy games at the end one after another.
“It was a learning experience for sure. Of course going in there with big crowds I was nervous, but I had to go in there and compete.”
Where did his game grow the most?
“I would say facilitating. Also getting stronger.”
He told us what he is looking forward to displaying for college coaches this summer with both the Mac Irvin Fire and Richwoods.
“Showing them I am a true point guard and can do everything on the floor. Leading my team to victories.”
He holds four early offers.
“Illinois, Eastern Illinois, Incarnate Word, and Arizona State.”
Other big time programs are showing him interest and will be monitoring this summer.
“Iowa State, Arkansas, and Michigan.”
Illinois is the only school he has been out to for a visit at this point.
“I liked the atmosphere and how they competed in practice. Watching how I can fit in was great.”
