A true three-level scorer, Witherow has shown the ability to get to the hoop, with ease, but also the range to knock down the long ball. Defensively he plays with a high motor and uses active hands to make life difficult for everyone he guards.

5-11 Witherow was one of the more impressive all-around players that I watched over the last two days. Defensively he used a seemingly endless motor and active hands to make whoever he was guarding miserable and on the offensive end he showed true three-level scoring ability not only getting to the hoop, with ease, but also knocking down multiple long balls in each game I watched.
