Raymond was one of the top big men I saw over the weekend in Appleton. Already listed at 6’7, he has a strong frame that allows him to go to work out of the block. When he caught down low he did a good job of staying patient and seeing the floor, able to kick it out when a double-team came if needed. He’s strong enough to keep his balance through contact, and has the coordination to finish on the move out in transition. Converted at a high percentage when he caught anywhere near the basket.

Travel-team clubs across Wisconsin are going to want to get in on DeJesus, one of the top post players in the state’s 2030 class. Although not super bouncy, DeJesus utilized his strength, strong moves and nose for the basket to score with regularity in the lane in Appleton. He has good hands and snared passes in transition several times before finishing off the glass in the post. DeJesus rebounds well on both ends of the court and looms as a big impact player for Clintonville over the next four seasons.

Raymond DeJesus anchored the interior for Wisconsin Blizzard with authority. His presence in the paint alone altered opposing offenses, discouraging easy scoring opportunities at the rim. Beyond his physical impact, DeJesus showed a strong feel for the game—knowing when to score and when to facilitate. His role was central to Wisconsin Blizzard ‘s dominance on the glass and efficient half-court execution. By establishing an inside-out flow, he helped power the team through a strong run to the Gold Bracket Championship.

Raymond has a lot of size as an incoming freshman, and showed some nice flashes for Power 5 North. His off-ball movement helped open up a lot of easy looks around the basket, and he did a nice job of using his body to seal defenders and create angles for easy entry passes. When catching out of the high post he did a nice job of facing up and seeing the floor, locating open teammates cutting to the basket. Worked hard on the glass and was able to keep possessions alive for his team by tipping out missed shots where his teammates could then gather them.

Dejesus protected the paint in a major way for team 2. His commitment to the boards and timely outlets made for a solid pace offensively. Standing at 6′ 4″ he slowed down drives to the basket when walling up and using his height.
