Always a sharpshooter since stepping on the court as a freshman, Thomas firmly established himself among the better guards in the Class of 2027 with a stellar junior campaign. Which saw his overall impact grow as he earned more opportunities to display his great feel for the game. Based on these clips, that evolution is continuing. Makes great transition reads and sets the table in the halfcourt with in control playing. He retains his college ready range with a mixture of spot up and pull up deep threes. Thomas is a good bet to have a long college career, similar to his older brother Micah Thomas (Putnam City North 2019).

Parks earned All District honors in 5A and averaged 15 a game as a junior. Had some huge games, including a 6 three pointer, 23 point performance against 3A State Tournament team, Heritage Hall. In that game he made it look easy with effortless threes often from a step or two beyond the line. Liked the movement shooting ability he showed as the passer, then cut to the corner and got his shot up in one smooth motion on a baseline out of bounds three. Added strength and a little more height over the last six months, which has shown up as a rebounder. Hitting threes and being scrappy on the glass is often a ticket to the next level opportunities.

Leader of a youth movement Stonwall squad, which reached Area in Class B-1. Is well on his way to being a 2,000 point scorer after scoring over 500 points as a freshman. Does a lot of his damage with quality shooting from beyond the arc. But he's not just a sniper, he's a big body stat sheet stuffing wing. Crashes the glass, and often causes havoc with "stocks". Young prospect who knows how to play and will be an interesting "bet on production" small town standout for colleges to monitor.

Young guard with good straight line speed in transition, and an energetic playing style. Pops up with scores around the rim because of that motor. Has a good eye to feed rolling and cutting teammates to the rim. Can switch gears a bit on drives, stopping to use pumpfakes and other moves. Hope to see that continue and improve, as being able to play at different pace is arguably more important that just playing fast.

Well drilled scoring guard, who was cooking a bit in these highlights. Looked smooth on drives, euro stepping by defenders, dropping floaters and even tossing a nice lob. Good job of reading the defense to either attack the rim or pull up. Could be a name to watch next winter, as Piedmont is replacing a lot of senior scoring production and Straughn appears to have the skillset to help with that.
