About Tatum

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

A 6’5 athletic, versatile wing who can handle in space, break defenders down off the dribble, and finish at the rim, while also being a reliable perimeter shooter. Presents matchup problems with size, skill, and scoring ability at multiple levels.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

Extremely focused and mentally locked in, with a high-level work ethic and competitive mindset. Coachable, disciplined, and committed to improving every day while putting the team first.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I’ve been involved in my school basketball team and AAU programs, which have helped me develop teamwork, leadership, and discipline. I’ve also participated in school activities and events that keep me connected with my peers and community

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I’ve developed leadership, teamwork, and strong communication skills through my experience in sports. I take pride in being coachable, working hard, and encouraging my teammates. I also focus on discipline, staying consistent, and holding myself accountable both on and off the court.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

One challenge I’ve faced is balancing academics with athletics while continuing to improve my game. Managing my time and staying consistent hasn’t always been easy, but it’s helped me develop discipline, accountability, and a strong work ethic.

What type of college are you looking for?

I’m looking for a college that challenges me academically and allows me to compete at a high level in basketball. I want to be part of a program with strong coaching, a positive team culture, and an environment where I can continue to develop as both a player and a person.
