Owen is still finding his feet positionally, but he has the tools to become and a really good wing or stretch big man down the line. I first watched Owen with Big Shots SC before he made the switch to MHE, and it was clear to see his shooting ability when his feet are set, as well as his ability to slash to the rim with space. His size also makes him a good rim protector, but he does need some work to improve his fluidity.

First up of two Big Shots SC Premier 2029’s who caught my eye in Columbia is Owen Cutcliff Owen Cutcliff 6'7" | PF/SF West Ashley | 2029 State SC . Cutcliff is a very intriguing prospect who has some potential as a wing, but right now, his size makes him effective around the rim. He blocked three shots in Premier’s second game of the day, showcased some excellent feet in the pick-and-roll, and was an active talker on the defensive end. However, the intrigue comes in with his shooting, as he spaces the floor off the catch and could develop into a guy who can handle it to attack the paint.
