Grayson Williams helped generate a good deal of the Legacy Longhorns' offense this year, taking a real step forward as a floor general and leader. He executed plays to a T at times, made good reads, and also got his own shots off when he needed to. With the expansion of his game, he should be even more of a threat during the AAU circuit.

The 4A Mountain MVP, [player_tooltip player_id='2288366' first='Jordyn' last='Perdue'] leaps up to #12 in the updated 2027 rankings after being outside the top 35. He was one of Legacy's go to guys this year, averaging over 18 PPG. And he got the job done on a consistent basis thanks to his aggressiveness, skill, and athleticism. He's also a gritty defender on the other end, and can make opponents take contested shots or pass it off all together. He'll surely be a prospect to keep an eye out for this spring and summer.

[player_tooltip player_id='2471021' first='Jacory' last='Boyce'] slides up in 13th from 12th. He is a shifty and elusive guard that can dodge defenders when attacking the basket. His ability to change di rections is impressive, and I like he can locate the rim in traffic amongst the forwards and centers. Boyce has tight handles as well, and will facilitate for others if he draws extra attention. I'm also a fan of how he generates takeaways. averaging over 2.5 steals per game. Overall, he's a very tough guard and it'll be fun to watch him continue to evolve.

[player_tooltip player_id='2468405' first='Amari' last='Hinds'] has climbed up #14 in the latest rankings update. He is a real problem for opposing teams from beyond the arc and stays in “hunt” mode. He's also one to draw fouls and will likely get to the charity stripe even more often in the future as he gets stronger. In addition to scoring, Hinds can give his matchup issues by staying active with his hands and length on defense. Given his size and skill, the upside is clearly there.

Taytum Cios-Webb claims the #15 spot after being a force on both ends of the court for the Liberty Patriots this season. On defense, he leveraged his energy, quickness, and focus to lock down opponents. He was also one of the better rebounding guards in 5A and regularly snagged boards on offense. Beyond his scrappy play, he has some burst and will likely be getting downhill more frequently in the future.

[player_tooltip player_id='2352170' first='Cordet' last='Espinoza'] cracks the top 20 and moves into the #18 position. He does a little bit of everything to help his team win, including taking charges on defense and fighting for 50/50 balls. Those extra possessions are always appreciated, and he'll chase down boards too. On the offensive end, Espinoza has a few moves he can use to create separation, and he knocks down jumpers and 3-pointers. Look for him to run with Prominent Elite this summer.

[player_tooltip player_id='1965086' first='Ethan' last='Keith'] is officially at #19 now after previously being ranked 20th. He has proven to be a very accurate shooter since the fall, and I like how he's never afraid to let it fly. He also has a mid-range shot that he can get to, and he can get to the cup when he turns on the afterburners. Keith doesn't take possessions off on defense either and will get in his matchup's grill to make them uncomfortable. He noticeably competes with intensity and consistently empties the tank.

[player_tooltip player_id='1965090' first='Brosnen' last='Gilmore'] has an edge on offense thanks to his speed, instincts, and scoring mindset. He can create his own shot off the dribble and usually builds himself space to set up for his jumper or 3 ball. Gilmore's pace can also give opponents issues, and he can decelerate to shake defenders. Although there's room for growth on defense, he has the tools and intangibles to continue improving defensively.

[player_tooltip player_id='1945841' first='Thaddeus' last='Thatcher'] returned to the basketball court this winter after taking some time away. He was a reliable player on offense for Arbor View, and his touch is very much still there despite the break. He also makes difficult finishes and can drain free throws. As a defender, he uses his height and wingspan to be disruptive. All in all, I liked what I saw from him this season.
