Director’s Cut: Ohio Edition (Part 3)
As the first half of the grassroots season comes to a close we wanted to touch base with programs directors and coaches to see how things went during April and May. These articles aim to provide updates on the teams as well as under the radar players or the kids who are on track to have a big July.
Team Name: NEO Shooting Stars
Mid-Season Update:
This Shooting Star group is one that competes every play of every game. This group of kids love to get out and run in the full court but what is deadly is their ability to do that and be so productive in the half court set. The roster is full of athletes that have the capability take over games with their sheer athleticism at any given time.
Under the Radar Players:
• Brett Martin – 6’5 F – inside out type guy that can shoot the ball from deep,
has been super productive all year
• Anthony Mazzeo – 6’1 G – shoot first guy that will put the ball on the deck
and get to the rim, not a guy you want to leave open as he will make you
pay
