On the Radar Sweet 16 Session II Rundown
Shun Williams and On the Radar Hoops had their second session of the live period at McEachern High School in Georgia this weekend and it was full of some of the top players in the country. Here is a look at some of the top performers.
Like the upside of 6’9, CJ Huntley of PSB Elite 2020. Long, active forward that runs the floor well and can knock down some shots. Has the tools to be a player that colleges will have to take a look at over the next two years.
Impressed with the way PSB Elite 2020 guard Will Coble runs the point. Crafty guard that keeps defenders on those toes and skilled distributor.
2019 F Beau Maye is a player to watch in that class, tough, big strong frame and can rebound. Has a soft touch around the basket and made a few mid-range jumpers. Brother Luke plays at North Carolina.
2019 guard Caleb Mills of PSB Elite was on it today at On the Radar Session II. So fluid in transition, can score from anywhere. Close to having HM’s on him. Wouldn’t want to play against him for 4 years. Butler is the latest school to reach out and Cincinnati is really involved.
2019 Walyn Napper of Team South Carolina gets the offense going. Can finish at the rim, cat-quick PG that uses his speed well and opens up the floor for his team in transition.
2019 PG Josiah James may have been the best prospect at the event. At 6’6, James can take over a game with his scoring, his passing or his basketball IQ. He is just a smarter, more under control player than anyone else during this event. He has the size and length to be a problem at the next level and has some of the best passing ability I have seen in a few years for a point guard of his size.
