Hatchet House Hysteria Top Big Men

I've highlighted the floor generals and the scoring guards/wings. This time it's the guys that do the dirty work down low and possibly a bit more. Here are seven of the Top Big Men from Hatchet House Hysteria:    Versatile Freshman Forward out of Evansville Bosse does nothing but produce every time I've seen him. He's wise beyond his years on the floor. He's a player that knows his role on the team and excels at it. He's a long and lanky forward that plays with a high motor and a high IQ that can impact the game on both sides of the ball without having to score. He's become a a legit rim protector for the Bosse Bulldogs while also being a high level rebounder. Defensively he competes when he guards the ball. Hes a fluid athlete that moves his feet well on the perimeter. Offensively he doesn't force anything. He's a good cutter off the ball while also being a reliable shooter in the corner.     The Bethesda Christian 6'7” Junior Forward got busy early and often on the Patriots win over Rock Creek Academy. He's a long and fluid athlete that does most of his damage around the basket. He plays with good footwork and has a soft touch on his jump hook over his left shoulder. He's an excellent rebounder on both ends of the floor while excelling at rim running off opposition's misses. Defensively he plays vertical and does a good job contesting shots.     A physically imposing senior big man that rebounds at a high level. Hes a wide body forward with good hands and footwork. He showed he was comfortable playing out on the floor and has range on his jumper. Hes a reliable low post scorer with a soft touch while still being able to play through contact. Defensively, he's a paint presence that clogs the lane protecting the basket.     This was my first time seeing the athletic big man from Decatur Central. He's a fluid athlete that competes on both ends of the floor. Most of his scoring comes off garbage buckets, but showed soft touch on his post up attempts. High level rebounder with a big time motor that attacks the glass with wreckless abandon. Defensively he's a switchable defender that can guard all over the floor for a short period. Hes an aggressive rim protector that does a good job staying vertical.     The small school power forward in Southwest Indiana is a versatile player that can play inside and out offensively while guarding multiple spots on the floor defensively. He's a fluid athlete with a knack for the ball off the rim rebounding and showed the ability to push in transition and made good decisions. He's a physical driver with a quick first step that plays through contact well.     The bruising versatile forward out of Fort Wayne Bishop Luers had an extremely productive and efficient first half against Evansville Memorial at Hatchet House Hysteria. He's an inside-out forward that plays with lots of skill. Showed the ability to be a distributor on the perimeter as well as a guy on the wing looking for his own opportunities to score. Hes a mismatch problem with his size, length, and strength. He punishes smaller defenders on the low block while being able to take bigger players out on the perimeter and have the advantage.     [player_tooltip player_id='2466252' first='Preston' last='Tolliver'] had the best overall performance at Hatchet House Hysteria in his teams 60-56 loss to Decatur Central. The athletic Senior Forward is an absolute load on the block with his strength and athleticism. He possesses good hands that catches everything and once he gets the ball, he knows what to do with it. Down low he makes quick, decisive moves to the basket where he looks to finish above the rim every chance he gets. Defensively he's aggressive at the top of the Reitz zone with his length. In man to man he can guard multiples positions while doing a good job staying out of foul trouble.
