Let us dive on in and take a look at a few highlights of Tuesday's night of hoops.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Silver Creek wins big Class 3A clash over Charlestown</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Perhaps the biggest matchup of the night came down in southern Indiana with a battle between two Class 3A contenders. In a Sectional 30 preview matchup, The Silver Creek Dragons routed Charlestown 67-43. In the win, Silver Creek saw 4 players score in double figures with 2027 guard [player_tooltip player_id='2140328' first='Brandon' last='Hunter'] leading them 15 points. Lucas Lindermam added 13 points, [player_tooltip player_id='2470698' first='Brody' last='McLaughlin'] added 12 points, and [player_tooltip player_id='2476482' first='Dane' last='Caldwell'] put up 10 points. On the Charlestown side, Miami (OH) commit [player_tooltip player_id='1922051' first='Anthony' last='Fresh'] led the Pirates with 12 points. Silver Creek will travel to Columbus North on Friday and Charlestown will host Scottsburg on Thursday. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2617849' first='Josh' last='McBride'] pops off for Norwell in overtime win over Mississinewa</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Perhaps the single best player performance last night came up all the way in northern Indiana. Last night, in a game that some overtime, Norwell defeated Mississinewa 69-67. In the game, it was 2028 Norwell guard [player_tooltip player_id='2617849' first='Josh' last='McBride'] that had the standout performance with his double-double of 23 points and 10 rebounds. He also added 5 assists as well. For those not familiar with McBride, he has great size in the backcourt, handles the ball well, is a good and willing passer in the open floor, and is very athletic.
