Second time watching Rutherford this month, this time he was dialed in from distance. Hitting five threes in a season opening win. Most of them came via spot up hits, but did confidently drill a pull up in translation. Pure shooter, the net and rim seemed to barely move on his swishes. Intriguing sophomore, already off to an impressive November start.

One of Oklahoma's most dynamic players, Lowe lead a double digit comeback victory for his Commandos. Was on fire in the mid-range in the second half. Quick first step to gain a step on defenders and then rise up to score. Or can get defenders on their heels and use the split second of space to also quickly hit. His DNA is 100% as a score first guard, but looked more well rounded during the comeback. Caused some havoc on the defensive end and impressively had improved decision making and passing. Always draws a crowd on drives, this time he saw the floor well and made accurate kick out passes. If those moments of creation continue to combine with his natural scoring, he'll be set up for long term success.

In the season opener, Liggins played with a great motor and athleticism. High pointing and grabbing contested rebounds. One such sequence saw him pitch it ahead, sprint down the floor and get it back for a great finish. Was similarly active as a leaper as a rim protector. Had a chase down block in transition and other good rim protection moments in the halfcourt. The raw athleticism he showed and energy he played with should make Liggins a prime candidate for development minded JuCo programs.

Newcomer to Crooked Oak from west Texas. Impressed in a few different defensive spots during their match up with Star Spencer. Gets up and plays tough, quick on the ball defense. Had an another instance where his quick hands ripped away the ball for a steal, then he pitched it ahead for a dunk by a teammate. Hit one of the biggest shots in the OT win with a late extended floater. A check of his Hudl page from last year shows he can also fill it up from three. Player to keep track of as the Ruf-Nex aim to continue their strong recent success.

Speedy guard, who's tempo pushing ways helps energize the Pioneers' offense. Along with the speed has good handles which helps him break the press and pressure the rim in the halfcourt. His ability to get shots for his teammates make him a "stir the team's drink" guard. Good athlete when attacking the rim, has real lift that helps him to really elevate on those finishes.

Tough minded utility player for Crooked Oak. Hit threes when left open and had a couple impressive And 1 finishes. Makes it happen with hustle to chase down loose balls and even helping out on the glass well for a smaller guard. Type of player, who makes a noticeable impact by stacking together small moments.

Was a bright spot in Ponca City's season opening loss. Stronger frame, allowed him to muscle up a bit on defense to battle around the rim. Could really become a bully type guard if he puts in the weight room work as he matures. Solid shooter from three and in the mid-range. First time seeing the northern Oklahoma guard, who nearly averaged double figures as a freshman.
