Teams from all over the state have been competing in various preseason circuits, featuring talent ranging from promising underclassmen to experienced senior leaders. The competition has been fierce, packed with high-energy matchups, clutch moments, and breakout performances. One of the most consistent and competitive settings has been the Hoop Group Fall League, held at their headquarters in Neptune, NJ — a longtime hub for Shore Conference programs that continues to deliver top-tier games. With that in mind, let's take a look at some standout performers from Monday night's action.    A multi dimensional weapon who possesses elite feel for the game, [player_tooltip player_id='2202020' first='Avery' last='Lynch'] did a good job of playing within himself— impressing as a knockdown shooter along side his ability to do a lot of the little things that impact winning. An overall smooth and fluid shooter, Lynch was efficient not only from the field but also in his movements as a shooter. Lynch also had bright moments that highlighted his high IQ for the game— constantly moving and cutting to open space, being an unselfish connective passer, and contributing on the boards. Lynch also did a good job on the defensive end, defending with high intensity and extremely effective communication.     A steady combo guard who possess the ability to be productive and impactful from either guard spot, [player_tooltip player_id='2107954' first='Charlie' last='Marcoullier'] showcased his ability to be a timely and efficient scorer— both as a finisher in transition as well as a spot up shooter from three point range. Marcoullier also did a good job of operating as an additional and reliable ball handler at times for CBA's offense.     Providing a nice presence on the interior for CBA in their matchup against RFH, [player_tooltip player_id='2421370' first='David' last='Buley'] excelled as a finisher inside both rim running in transition and catching the ball out the dunker spot from penetrating guards. Brunson was also impactful in the rebounding department, using his elite length to his advantage to crash the glass and come down with rebounds. Jones knocked down a handful of outside shots off the catch, showcasing his ability to be a floor spacer while also showing moments of him handling the ball in the open floor. Cooper made a number of good reads with the ball in his hands, being unselfish and spreading the ball out to his teammates. Confident from the perimeter, Cooper also showcased his ability to be a dangerous threat from three point range.     A young guard who has some skill, Dylan Brunson impressed with his confidence as a shooter— knocking down in rhythm threes as a movement shooter and even flashing his ability to knock down perimeter shots off the bounce.     Monday evening was another impressive performance for Oliver Cohen that saw him continue to shine as a flame thrower from three point range. Carrying over the momentum he gained last weekend at MADE's Northeast Preview, Cohen knocked down a number of in rhythm threes as a spot up shooter for Rutgers Prep's offense. Emerging as a reliable guard in Rutgers Prep's rotation, Cohen has very much so provided dependable three point shooting.
