FEAAC Showcase – Bigs

Through a combination of live-action drills and 5-on-5 gameplay, players had numerous opportunities to showcase their skill set in front of scouts. Here is a list of bigs who stood out.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>**Hassani Roberts-Guity, 6'9, 2030 Summit** - He was the youngest player in the gym and displayed a willingness to do the dirty work. He battled in the paint and fought for position, actively seeking out opportunities to grab the ball. He remained focused and did not get frustrated, demonstrating a strong work ethic. He excelled on the boards, consistently collecting rebounds, securing putbacks, and making solid outlet passes to his guards. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>**Ceasar Golbert Mbai, 6'8, 2028 Greenforest Christian Academy** - Another long and lanky player, he possesses some guard skills, a serviceable jumper, and the ability to finish above the rim with force. He frequently uses a negative step on catches beyond the three-point line, putting his defender in a challenging situation where he can decide to either elevate for a shot or attack the basket. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>**Wekem Agamba, 6'8, 2029 Jordan Christian Prep** - He had a chance to shine in his second game, thanks in large part to his teammates setting him up for easy scoring opportunities. He deserves credit for running the floor hard, sealing early, and being aggressive. Most of his finishes around the rim were dunks, and once he got into rhythm, he was able to alter several shot attempts at the rim and pick up a few blocks. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>**Timothy Thurman, 6'7, 2027 Lehigh Senior High School** - He performed exceptionally well on the boards, protecting the rim and forcing opponents to take difficult shots. His activity level and attention to detail as a help-side defender were impressive. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>**[player_tooltip player_id='2866411' first='Obi' last='Edeoga'], 6'6, 2028 Charlotte High School** - He did not have many offensive opportunities in the games. To make an impact, he focused on the little things: hustling after loose balls, diving on the floor, boxing out, denying passes, and securing boards and second-chance opportunities for his teammates. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>**Jaden Slater, 6'4, 2029 Morgan High School** - He had some solid moments attacking the rim, including a few tough turnaround jumpers and mid-range pull-ups in the paint.
