Clarke is a dog. The 6-foot-7 forward dominated the game yesterday with his physical tools, effort level, and motor. He was impossible to keep off the glass as an offensive rebounder, and once he got the rock anywhere in the paint, he was looking to find the defender’s body and go right through it. He’s not afraid to be physical in the paint, but he also has the ability to drive closeouts on the perimeter and elevate at the rim for dunks and contact-finishes. Clarke is going to continue to get a lot better in the coming years but will also be productive right now for New Hampton’s loaded squad this season.

Clarke, a wing out of the New Hampton School in New Hampshire, makes his first appearance in the 2029 rankings at #14 and comes in as the #2 ranked small forward. A 6’7″ wing from Canada, Clarke impressed in his first showing with New Hampton at the NEPSAC Showcases this summer. He has a physically advanced frame, can play on the perimeter or in the paint offensively, and is comfortable creating with the ball in his hands. He’s a tough finisher off the bounce and can create his own shot in the mid-range and from behind the arc. He should have a lot of defensive versatility too and profiles as a high level rebounder from the wing spot.

Clarke, a wing out of the New Hampton School in New Hampshire, appears on the Watch List for the second time in this update. A native of Canada, Clarke won’t be on the Watch List for much longer as the 6’7″ wing is one of the more impressive athletes in this class. He has great positional size and length, which he uses to his advantage on both ends of the floor, but which shine through in particular on the defensive end of the floor. He can guard all five positions, rebounds it above the rim in traffic, and has the ability to make plays in passing lanes that lead to turnovers. He finishes with authority around the rim, both as a slasher and off ball mover.
