Dayton Midseason Stock Risers

The junior class is loaded with players who have had their stock rise this season thus far. These players have went from unknown or lesser known, to legitimate potential collegiate players.
Harrison Hookfin (Lebanon) 2018- Hookfin has went from an unknown senior to one of the hottest names in the GWOC. He is currently averaging 15 points and 8 rebounds per game. A 6’5 forward, Harrison has the passing skills of a guard making him a great inside-out threat. He has emerged as a legitimate D3 collegiate player.
Ronnie Hampton (Wayne) 2019- Hampton is a rising name for a loaded Wayne basketball team. Known for being a lock down defender, Ronnie is a Top 5 leader in the conference in steals averaging 3 per game. An offensive unknown still, Ronnie gets to the rim and is a talented finisher and is now considered a legitimate D3 level. With more work on his jumpshot he could mold into a potential D2 player.
Levi McMonigle (Madison) 2019- The former Valley View Spartan is a star on the glass. Leading the SWBL in rebounds per game with 9, McMonigle has been a difference maker and a big reason why Madison is on an 11 game winning streak. Although not known for his scoring, Levi still has increased his stock and is a legitimate D2/D3 player.
Jameel Cosby (Kenton Ridge) 2018- An emerging star in the CBC, Cosby is a Top 5 player in multiple categories within the conference. Averaging 20 points and 8 rebounds per game, Jameel has been a huge reason for Kenton Ridge’s success thus far this season. He is athletic enough to play at the next level and I see him as a legitimate NAIA or D3 player.
Damonte Bailey (Ponitz) 2019- Averaging a double-double per game, Bailey has seen a major increase in his stock and is now a top player in the DCL. A star when it comes to rebounds, Bailey controls the paint on both ends of the floor and has emerged as a leader for the Panthers. With time to still improve, Damonte is currently a D2 level prospect with potential to go higher over time.
