O’Rourke, a forward out of Bedford High School in New Hampshire, checks in at #7 among the power forwards and #44 overall. O’Rourke has been the breakout name out of the NHIAA this winter while helping the defending state champions get off to a 7-0 start. The 6’6″ forward has terrific length and plays with a high motor on both ends of the floor. While his scoring numbers may look pedestrian, he’s averaging 11.6 points per game, it’s his ability create extra possessions as an offensive rebounder and to control the paint defensively that have helped his stock rise this winter. He’s the best shot blocker in the NHIAA and quickly becoming one of the best in any of the six state associations.

He had a bit role as a freshman on a really good Bedford team, but could shine this winter in a bigger role. He averaged 1.6 points per game in limited action last winter, but intrigues with his combination of athleticism, mobility, and length. At 6’6″, he’s one of the bigger and stronger prospects in the NHIAA and has the ability to do a lot of damage on the offensive and defensive glass. He also stands out with his timing and instincts as a shot blocker on the defensive end of the floor.

He got sporadic minutes on a state championship squad last season, but will look to fill a major front-court role this year. He’s an advanced offensive rebounder that uses a strong lower body to carve out space, while also showing the ability to finish plays through contact. On the other end, he’s a little farther along, impressing as both a rebounder and shot blocker, while also proving capable of switching onto guards on the perimeter.
