Nelan is a player that we did not know much about heading into the event, but he was a player who turned heads as he used his size to dominate inside. He rebounded with force, converted second-chance opportunities, and showed solid touch finishing around the basket, and that was certainly on display on 3 on 3. He played with effort and kept plays alive, battled on the glass, and scored in traffic. His aggressiveness and physicality gave his team a steady interior presence, making him a reliable contributor inside.

Denham thrived at the showcase by doing the dirty work. That is how you make your mark as a player when so many players are looking to simply "get theirs." He set strong screens, rolled hard to the rim and either finished or opened up the offense with his movement, rebounded relentlessly, and even knocked down a couple of midrange jumpers. His motor carried his team in the 3-on-3 stretches where he controlled the paint. With good size and toughness, Denham's willingness to do the little things made him one of the most effective role players at the event.

Roehr distinguished himself with unselfish playmaking, and that is how you separate yourself in these kinds of settings. As one of the few guards focused on setting the table, he screened, cut, and consistently created scoring opportunities for teammates. His vision was on display. He rebounded despite his size and defended with grit. Roehr's energy and selflessness helped teammates shine, proving he's a catalyst who makes winning plays. His impact went beyond scoring, and those things are how you stay on the floor. He's a player worth following.

[player_tooltip player_id='2822429' first='Jalen' last='Rose'] came down to the showcase and wanted to make a mark, and did that with effort plays. He had his nose in plenty of plays and set the tone with tough defense. He was active in passing lanes, was disruptive on that end of the floor, and turned it into scoring opportunities for his team. He does the dirty work and is a difference-maker on the floor, and we got to see that in 3 on 3 as well as 5's. He's now on the radar as a player to follow. It was great to see him compete against other top players in the class to see where he measures up.
