Prep Hoops Indiana Sophomore ID Camp – Team 5 Evaluations

This year 120+ of the state's best Class of 2028 prospects came to receive updated evaluations from our scouting department. We were incredibly happy with the level of talent in attendance for this great event. Coming out of North Central High School, Johnson is a shorter guard, but he's very shifty and quick with the ball. Listed at around 6'0", Peak Jr. displayed one of the better mid-range jumpers I saw on the day and looked very comfortable shooting from that area. While he is on the shorter side compared to his peers, Petty has a long frame that he uses well in the fast-paced style he plays. At around 6'3", Gilpin was one of the hardest-working players I saw on Sunday, using his strong frame to play aggressively underneath the basket. At 6'3", De Castro is a long wing with a smooth pull-up jumper, which he showed while playing with Team 5 at the Prep Hoops Indiana Sophomore ID Camp. Listed at 5'11", Anderson has an athletic frame that allowed him to work effectively off the ball as a cutter. He was his aggressive, physical self in the paint and on the glass, but what stood out most was his ability to create on the wing. It looks as though he has unlocked more of an ability to stretch the floor, and if that's the case, South Bend Riley is going to be a dangerous team this season. At 6'2", Boomsma is a true combo guard who made smart cuts to the basket and stood out as one of the better rebounding guards in the gym. At 6'7", Crosby was one of the most physically impressive players in the gym—and he had the raw skills to back it up.
