Today, we'll take a look at the Initiator Point Guards! The Initiator Point Guards are prospects that make others better. Typically capable of scoring too, they do a great job of making the offense flow and of finding their teammates in situations where they can score.

Moesch is coming off of a second really productive summer in a row. In fact, he's set to make a visit to Providence this weekend; which is significant because the Friars became his first high major offer earlier this summer. The lead guard out of Cushing Academy has a terrific feel for the game with the ball in his hands and shows uncommon vision at this level. He's a terrific decision maker in ball screens, delivers passes on time and on target, and can be counted on against the press. While he's a capable scorer in his own right, it's his ability to see and process the game at a high level that stands out each and every time he takes the floor.

Nash is another prospect that had a strong summer, both on the travel circuit and during the scholastic periods. He doesn't pop physically when he steps on the floor, but once he gets the ball in his hands it's a different story. He's got a lightning quick first step, some real wiggle when getting into the paint, and the ability to make some creative passes off his drives. His quickness stands out on the defensive end too, where he has the ability to create turnovers and then transition to the offensive end of the floor in the blink of an eye. He plays with a good understanding of pace and when to switch speeds, has plus burst when attacking off the bounce, and knows how to read defenses out of ball screens.

Hunter-Coleman has all the intangibles that coaches look for in a quality lead guard; he's competitive, he's tough, and he makes his teammates better. After announcing that he'll reclassify to 2027 and attend the Newman School, he's primed for a breakout season this winter. The lefty has a muscular, compact build that allows him to play through contact as a driver. He's electric in transition, getting out ahead of the pack and looking for teammates in easy scoring situations. In the half-court, he has the ability to pick apart a defense with his feel for the game and passing, particularly when he gets by the initial defender off the bounce. His aggression and physicality are an asset to his playmaking.

White, who will head to Dexter Southfield this fall as a member of the class of 2028, is another high IQ prospect that does a great job of making life easier for his teammates. He's a floor general that knows how to get everyone organized and on the same page, he doesn't cause the basketball to stick, and he knows how to find and attack the advantage. He can get to his spots off the bounce and while he's a good finisher over size in the paint, also excels in his ability to find big men around the rim or to spray it out to shooters. He's another guard that creates offense from defense and does a good job of keeping his eyes up the floor in transition.

Hilario, an incoming 2029 at St. Andrew's, capitalized on a unique opportunity to play at the international level this summer for the Dominican Republic in the FIBA 16U AmeriCup. A three level scorer, he really impressed with his ability to process the game out of ball screens. He's a willing ball-mover that is at his best when he attacks the paint off the bounce. He knows how to find the trailer in transition and is also really good at drawing a big off a drive and finding the dunker for easy finishes in the paint. On top of that, he's a creative ball-handler that can attack gaps and force the defense into rotation, then find teammates for open shots on the perimeter.
