Slack was a primary ball handler, initiated the offense, and still averaged over 25ppg. This included a 43 point explosion in St. Louis. Quite frankly, he should be seeing offers from Michigan and midwest teams.

Johnson was terrific with the [program_tooltip program_id='2076480' first='Macomb' last='County Cougars']. Don't focus on his height, because he can body a 6-4 guard and create more than enough space. Johnson was simply to strong for a majority of perimeter defenders to deal with this summer.

Otto was lights out this grassroots season. Easily one of the most improved players that I saw. He showed that he could score in bunches. Otto hit runners from mid range and catch and shoot triples from all around the arc. He really looked like an athletic shooter.

I had never scouted Davis before this grassroots season, and man was I missing out. He simply makes plays with his combination of straight line speed, shiftiness and handles. Davis can beat the defense down the floor, draw the D and dish or finish at the rim with creativity. Better yet, he's just a really classy young man with a ton of potential on and off the court.

Hall is another player that I had never scouted until this season. He's a great young man that's willing to put in the work. Hall has a next level jumper and the athleticism to go with it. He can get off the ground and do it in a hurry, finishing with a jaw dropping dunk. He greatly improved his defense throughout the season. A next level program would be getting a steal.

We're going to take a second look at some guards from the class of 2026 that saw their stock rise this summer.
