Trainers Collective Run: 2026 Standouts

Four trainers had the bright idea of collaborating and bringing the top players they work out with together for a big showcase. Most of the players are already highly rated prospects in the Prep Hoops Illinois database in their classes. In this article, I recap the standout 2026 prospects!    It's so puzzling to me that Wegrzyn doesn't have many offers. He's a versatile big that steps out on the perimeter to make shots and he plays at a good pace of the game. His touch from mid-range and skillset around the basket are above average. Bryce is sneaky athletic and had multiple dunks in the runs.     Stack is another senior whom I just don't understand why he doesn't have the schools that some others in the state have. He's the tallest player but he proved that he can move and make shots from deep. Colin connected on several dunks and blocked quite a few shots near the basket. One part that improved with him is how well he runs the court. He gets down the court much smoother than in his younger days.     Bolte was maybe the most complete player in the runs. He shot it well and scored easily from mid-range and around the basket. On defense he impressed me with how well he switches from bigs to wings and doesn't give up much ground.     Possibly the best shooter in the gym. He ran off several threes in the first game. He didn't miss a shot until the second half. Danny is a capable driver who keeps a defender in his face which opens up space for driving lanes.     The recent winner of the Jordan brand 1 on 1 competition Jayden had guys on skates in the middle of the court. At times he exposed the switches to slower defenders and scored or assisted on each play. Riley played with pace and led his team to some competitive wins.     Jayden is a long and athletic forward who thrives on scoring in fastbreaks. He connected on several dunks because of how well he ran the floor. His energy picked up the more he got up and down the court. He still has some untapped potential in his game.     TJ is slippery with the rock in his hands. He gets to his spots and elevates over defenders and nails jumpers with incredible touch. He looks smooth on drives to the paint usually finishing with an athletic play. Williams has a knack for scoring from all three levels but is very dangerous in the open court. He will provide a much-needed scoring threat to Bolingbrook this upcoming season.     Former Romeoville prospect returned home to show how well he's improved his skillset. Adam is super bouncy and likes to play above the rim. He had the best poster dunk of the day as he dunked over two guys trying to block his attempt. With one more year to go Walker can make some noise for himself playing in a competitive prep conference.
