GRBA 17u Standouts – Part 2

He has complete control of the offense from the point guard position. Foster gets the ball up the floor and gets the ball to teammates in scoring positions. He was really solid as a lead ball handler and was able to advance the ball and initiate the offense with a drive and dish or by swinging it quickly. We could grab anyone off that team, but we're going to go with Torbert. Why? Because he might just be the best player in Michigan regardless of class. I saw him attack in a variety of ways. Holok attacked the rim off the bounce and finished in the open floor. We've talked all summer about his handles and the way he can shoot the ball. But what I noticed this weekend was the way that he picked and chose his opportunities. He could have scored 30, I don't know. What I do know is I saw a well rounded guard that can facilitate and create. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- /wp:acf/evaluation-block -->
