led the way for the Knights posting a double-double which included 18 points, 5 rebounds, and 11 assists. His quick-twitch playmaking ability off of the bounce makes him an intriguing small college prospect for programs still looking for a lead guard.

You have to go beyond the numbers when evaluating Foster’s game. He has complete control of the offense from the point guard position. Foster gets the ball up the floor and gets the ball to teammates in scoring positions. He did show that he can go get a bucket when his team needs 1, but takes pride in facilitating.

Jones and Horvath generally put up the biggest scoring numbers for Indiana Eclipse 17u, but Foster is the straw that stirs the drinks. The 6’0″ point guard from Mishawaka Marian High School is an excellent playmaker with a real pass-first mentality. His quickness, ability to change the pace, and overall ball-handling ability make him an intriguing under-the-radar floor general to keep an eye on.

Foster just led his Indiana Eclipse squad to a Braw For The Ball Platinum Championship. He’s the definition of a floor general. Foster can advance the ball through pressure with the dribble or the pass. He then initiates the offense and gets the ball to it’s spots, making turnover few and far between in the process.

Foster is a guard that I’m lucky enough to be very familiar with. I’ll never forget having to coach against him a couple years ago. The story is still the same. Barely any turnovers and gets the ball to it’s spots at just the right time. Foster can hit a cutter on a dime and feed the post with ease. He’s also excellent at controlling pace.

Between watching him with Indiana Attack Basketball Club this summer on the Prep Hoops Circuit or again this fall at the Metro Indy Fall League, we’ve had eyes on Foster several times in the last few months. The 6’0″ guard continues to intrigue us as a two-way athlete in the backcourt. Look for him to step into a larger role this season at Mishawaka Marian.

Foster was really solid at The Stage last weekend. He was an athletic lead guard that created off the bounce and kept defenders guessing. Foster showed 3 point range on his jumper and the ability to score as well as pass in transition. He was a 2 way player that looked for deflections.

A 5’10” point guard with good quickness in the open floor, Foster showed his talent with the ball in his hands on Sunday. He can make plays in transition, plays with good pace in the half court, and can score it off of the dribble.
