2026 Rankings Update: Group 4 Point Guards to Track

The point guard position has the most prospects in the class with 80 players taking part. Here are the 2026 Group 4 point guards to track.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1790209' first='Ethan' last='Lin'], 6'4 Montgomery</strong></h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Lin is one of the more talented guards in the class and is looking to put it on display this summer. The 6'4 guard uses his size to see over his defender and rises up nicely on his jumper. Lin has a good handle, which he uses to blow by his defender and can finish in a variety of ways around the rim. He has the length to defend multiple positions on the floor and can also lay off the ball. Lin picked up multiple D1 offers this spring and is looking to add to that total this summer.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1595682' first='Jayden' last='Holman'], 6'1 Linden</strong></h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Holman has the potential to make noise this summer as he looks to make plays on and off the ball. The 6'1 guard uses his quick first step to beat his defender off the bounce and is a crafty finisher around the rim. Holman has a nice touch in the mid-range and sets his feet before he shoots. He uses his quick hands to get deflections on defense and can thread passes to his open teammates in the half court. Holman's ability to make plays on and off the ball is something that will help his stock in a big way.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1595681' first='Jaren' last='Barnett'], 5'8 Linden</strong></h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Barnett transferred into Linden this week and should provide them with an immediate spark in the back court. The 5'8 guard rarely gets sped up by on-ball pressure and knows how to get to his spot on the floor. Barnett can finish in a number of ways around the basket and has a good touch in the mid-range. He is a tough on-ball defender and has the ability to play off the ball as well. He attacks the basket with a purpose as he finishes strong around the rim and is unafraid of drawing contact. Jones can also score in the mid-range and sets his feet before he shoots. He works hard on the defensive end and pushes the pace nicely in transition. The 6'0 guard has a good handle, which he uses to blow by his defender off the bounce and finishes nicely around the basket. Hart knows how to get his teammates involved in the half court and is unafraid of taking big shots in clutch situations. He is a tough on-ball defender and is an underrated rebounder.
