Bay City Championship 16U Standouts

PH NorCal was at the Bay City Championship on Saturday at SF City College. There was a good number of underclass prospects we caught a glimpse of.    Owoborode is the top shot blocker, rim protector in the class of 2027 in NorCal to start the Spring. He combines timing, and quick jump to block 3 or 4 shots per game at the 16U level. He doesn't go for fakes often. He's a strong player who will continue to grow his offensive skill set. He'll get a bucket with his work around the basket. He's a riser.     Miller is one of NorCal's top playmaking guards. He probably a point, but does well putting points on the board. He continues to fine tune his point guard skills. He's making good decisions with ball in hand. He's directing, seeing and delivering quality passes in half court and in transition basketball. He passes up often. He can get hot dropping 3's.     Our recent class of 2027 rankings was released a few weeks ago. We have Rymes at 22. After watching him the past two weeks, he's set to rise again. all indications are he's set for a breakout Spring with NBBA 16U, on the UA Circuit. He's an athletic guard with the tools to effect the game on both sides of the ball. He averaged 17.4 per game with his high school team. He scores in all the ways one can. Strong drive, mid-range, and 3ptrs. He has the speed and conditioning to be a top notch defender     He's a crafty point guard with some scoring abilities. He'll use his handle and different moves to go by defenders for finishes around the basket with either hand. He's a free flowing prospect who likes to push/pass in transition. He'll pull up for 3's, and mid-range jumpers.     Cetoute serves as the man in the middle for his team. Standing 6'2 he's a solid body that gives good effort working his way around the post. He's an active rebounder, who'll get offensive rebounds and finish playing through contact. He's a good passer, he defends bigger players, and he does a good job of hustling up court in transition. He'll go on the Watch List.     He's 6'8 and growing, he has square shoulders a solid frame to build upon. Right now he's a screener, a ball mover reversing the ball from side to side up top. He'll set up wide as a target in the post, a good passer from the post. He can move bodies to get in position for rebounds. He'll be a contributor defending in the post, and going for rebounds until he can polish up the rest of his game.     He's one of the more consistent point guards in the 2027 class. He's a solid body, knows how to run a team in half-court. He makes good decisions, knows when it's time to be aggressive. It's hard to keep the stocky guard from getting into the paint for points, and assists when he makes up his mind. He doesn't mind the physical play. He can stop and pop mid-range jumpers, and knock down 3's. He's faster then he looks. 5 assists per game.     A solid combo guard, he does a solid job of moving to the top running the offense keeping his dribble live and making the extra pass. He's a hard driver into the paint. He's a hard playing guard that runs the court in transition, works hard on the defensive side of the ball     He's a newcomer to NorCal PH. He has good size, looks like he'll grow a few more inches. He's deliberate not real fast, decent foot work, but gets things done. He showed he could knock down 3's coming down in transition, he's comfortable working around the perimeter spotting up for 3ptrs. We'll see more.     Harris will get the opportunity to show what kind of player he's going to be going forward. This will be a big Spring for him. He has good size, moves around the post area working for rebounds, and defending. He was aggressive when he needed to be. He has a bit of a inside /out game. He'll spot up and shoot 3's from the corners. With improved post work he'll get a bucket inside.
