Ryan Morgan | Prep Hoops Scout
The Bellarmine post/wing was pretty instrumental to their season-long success, and showed he can fill various roles within their offense. His vision was a key factor in helping him find success playing out of different areas, and allowed him to step up into a bigger ball handling role later in the season after the loss of their starting point guard. He has the strength and wingspan to defend multiple positions, and was a versatile player on both ends of the floor.

This season, he has become a bigger two-way factor with some added playmaking on the offensive end and the ability to stretch the floor a little more. Bellarmine had a great year last winter, and Heisel has been a big part of their balanced approach. He’s able to guard bigger posts with his long wingspan, quick reactions, and toughness inside. He’s a double-double threat who can chip in some blocked shots, and even has a pretty nice-looking stroke out to three. He’ll be key in making sure the Lions repeat their success this winter.
