Our final rankings update for the Class of 2025 features 28 new prospects ranked among the Top 250.

The Newcomers are an impressive group of prospects that come from the public and prep ranks, with at least one newly recognized prospect coming from each of New England's six states.

Below are ten prospects that made their way into the rankings after impressing with their play on the court this winter.

[player_tooltip player_id='2693556' first='Ashton' last='Reynolds'] (#48)

A shooting guard out of Williston Northampton, Reynolds made the most of his post-graduate season in New England by helping lead his team to a NEPSAC A championship. One of the most impressive athletes in the country, he has done a great job of rounding out his game in the last 12 months, adding more ways to score and showing signs of playmaking ability. He's at his best attacking the rim, with or without the basketball in his hands, both in the half-court and in transition. Defensively, he has stopper potential with his combination of athleticism, lateral mobility, length, and positional size.

[player_tooltip player_id='2811210' first='Harvin' last='Guevara'] (#65)

A center from Bridgeport Prep, Guevara is another prospect that capitalized on his post-graduate year in New England. A big body in the paint, he beats opponents with his feel for the game and skill set, playing with a high basketball IQ on both ends of the floor. He's an agile scorer in the post, showing good footwork and the ability to make some high level passes when a double team comes. He's improved his range as a shooter and is comfortable making standstill threes in catch and shoot situations. Defensively, he has good timing as a shot blocker and the ability to initiate the break with terrific outlet passes.

[player_tooltip player_id='2811218' first='Elijah' last='Small'] (#88)

A small forward at Vermont Academy, Small continued to impress in spurts this winter while dealing on and off with injuries. A prototypical, modern combo forward, he has the ability to impact games in and out of the paint and uses his long 6'7" frame to his advantage on both ends of the floor. He's an impressive athlete that makes plays in space as a finisher and a shot blocker. He has some playmaking ability on the perimeter and is a mismatch forward when he gets slower defenders in space. Defensively, he can really rebound the basketball above the rim and uses his length to create steals in passing lanes.

[player_tooltip player_id='2453029' first='David' last='Smith'] (#110)

A shooting guard out of Glastonbury, Smith announced himself this winter as one of the top scorers in New England, including having a 51-point game on his senior night. The 6'4" guard is an elite athlete that has really improved his skill level in the last year. He's at his best in the open floor and is almost unguardable when he gets downhill off the bounce, finishing with power and athleticism at the rim. What impressed most this winter was his ability to create with the ball in his hands, as he proved to be someone who could initiate offense while also creating space in isolation situations as a perimeter scorer.

[player_tooltip player_id='2811653' first='Cayden' last='Smith'] (#160)

A point guard from Bloomfield, Smith wrapped up one of the more impressive statistical high school careers by passing both the 1,000-point and 1,000-assist marks in high senior season. He's a long guard that is creative with the ball in his hands, while a capable scorer, he always has his eyes up the floor and does a great job of throwing pitch ahead passes. He really improved as a perimeter shooter over the years and that only helped to open up the floor more for his drives which led to easy baskets at the rim. On top of the offensive skills, he took pride on the defensive end and guarded well at the point of attack.

[player_tooltip player_id='2703639' first='Jaeshawn' last='Rogers'] (#179)

A small forward at Busche Academy, Rogers used his post-graduate season to prove he could compete at the highest level of prep basketball. At 6'3", he has good size on the perimeter and can operate as a primary playmaker in the half-court. The lefty is shifty with the ball in his hands, has impressive floor vision, and can make high level passes off the bounce. He does a great job of finishing with length and athleticism at the rim and continue to improve the consistency of his perimeter jumper. Defensively, he can guard multiple positions while proving to be disruptive in the half-court.

[player_tooltip player_id='2695271' first='Nafees' last='Padgett'] (#187)

A power forward out of the Tilton School, Padgett has the all intangibles you'd want to see in a versatile forward. He makes good decisions with the basketball in his hands, can operate as a roller or pop guy out of screens, and makes shots in catch and shoot situations. He does a nice job running the floor and shows impressive athleticism when making plays in space. Defensively, he can guard up and down a lineup, rebounds at a high level both in space and in traffic, and is willing to give up his body to take charges or dive on loose balls, making the winning plays that don't show up in a box score.

[player_tooltip player_id='2716650' first='Carson' last='Gretz'] (#212)

A power forward from Newburyport, Gretz is fundamentally sound offensively while also being a versatile defender and above the rim athlete in space. He can operate as the hub of an offense from a variety of spots on the floor and is an effective decision maker with the ball in his hands in transition. He knows how to score with his back to the basket in the post, makes tough mid-range jumpers, and has come along as a shooter in catch and shoot situations. He works hard on the defensive glass and has the mobility needed to guard in space when switched onto smaller guards and wings.

[player_tooltip player_id='2811769' first='Hilary' last='Iyare'] (#233)

A shooting guard at BC High, Iyare is in constant attack mode on the offensive end of the floor while also being disruptive defensively. A good athlete that plays with a high motor, he does a really good job of getting downhill off the bounce and putting pressure on the rim. He plays with strength and that allows him to play through contact and finish physically at the rim. He turns the corner off ball screens, finishes over size in the paint, and knows how to make tough jumpers in the mid-range. Defensively, he's a solid on-ball defender that knows how to create deflections and block shots.

[player_tooltip player_id='2811770' first='Calvin' last='Godbolt'] (#242)

A point guard out of Holyoke, Godbolt is a dynamic offensive performer that thrives in pressure packed moments. A tough and gritty competitor, he's all over the floor on the defensive end, taking charges, grabbing loose balls, and generally creating havoc as an on-ball defender. He creates for others in transition and is really shifty with the ball in his hands, changing speeds and directions on a dime. He doesn't back down from physicality and finishes with creativity around the rim. On top of all that, he has proven to be a high level perimeter shooter, knocking down threes in bunches.
