23p 2a 2r vs Good Counsel (W)

Trey was masterful in his scoring output in this game. He consistently put up baskets all through the game, and made some timely buckets in the clutch. He was the team's biggest threat and he played with that sort of mentality on the court. Never lost confidence and got his points from all areas on the floor. Got to the line a ton of times through the game and also made jumpers from any range. Another great showcase of scoring from the senior wing.

Ashton had a very impressive MDPSSBT showing in his two outings. He put up shots from all around the arc in both contests. Helped the Stags put up close to 80 points in their opening matchup with Glenelg due to his 26 point outburst. Ace made some strong drives to the rim and showed he did not fear the painted area. It was impressive seeing the different ways Ace got his shots off, whether off the dribble, catch-and-shoot, or off the screen. He is getting very comfortable with being the go-to guard when it comes to pure scoring.

20p 9r 3a vs Mount St. Joseph (L)

Trent showcased a high level of shooting in this performance vs MSJ. He got off his jumper in a variety of ways in the first half. Also put up a few floaters in-between that were essential to his ability to score in bunches. Trent was the team's leading scorer in this game and really their only consistent offensive threat. He finished with 20 and was effective on the glass as well, pulling in 9 rebounds. Egbiremolen showed he can be a solid scoring option while also remaining active on the opposite end of the floor. Kept his head up and made some nice passes to finish with 3 assists amidst the immediate need for his points.

19p 2a vs Lanham Christian (L)

Big-time performance from Kyle in a game that OLGC came close to winning. Logan put up points all game long in hopes to keep his team within reach of a red-hot opponent. He sliced his way into the lane for a multitude of different finishes. He shot the ball efficiently from distance and made the defense pay for leaving him open. Kyle looked good getting out in the open space and making plays in transition. Solid showing from the junior guard who is poised for a big senior season.

Taylor leaves a tremendous impact on the floor no matter the opponent. Again through the MD Private School States, he was rebounding well and getting to the FT line often. It's motivating to watch the way Jordan attacks the glass and outworks everyone for rebounds. His touch around the basket has clearly gotten better over the course of the season and in these two final games. Jordan's scoring output has slowly increased over time, I'm interested to see how his numbers inflate with more time and touches.

21p 4a 2r 1 blk vs Archbishop Spalding (W)

Chauncey played a high-level game for MSJ in their opening BCL Tournament game. Word was not to be left open outside the perimeter this game, he buried a few triples. He also mixed it up and got shots off in the midrange. Word kept his head up and consistently found his teammates through the night, totaling 4 assists. Would've never noticed Chauncey was a freshman playing amongst the seniors and juniors. Co-leading scorer for the game in the 1 point win over Spalding.
