Mater East Academy On To The State Final

[player_tooltip player_id='1243525' first='Miles' last='Williams'], [player_tooltip player_id='2050195' first='Roman' last='Taylor'], and [player_tooltip player_id='1253143' first='Deven' last='Taylor'] were the leading scorers. While Kendan Jones and [player_tooltip player_id='1243526' first='Lonnie' last='Bass Jr']. played good defense, to ensure that the Spartans didn't get anything easy on the inside. At halftime it was just a one point game. Spring Creek's, [player_tooltip player_id='2797876' first='Darren' last='Bylund'] and [player_tooltip player_id='2812147' first='Scott' last='Bylund'], both proved to be accurate shooters and they were able to help keep it close. Then in the first minute of the fourth quarter, the Knights took over and built about an 8 point lead. From there Spring Creek slowed on offense, and the Knights ran away with it. They had a very tough time bringing the ball up the court against him.
