led the state in assists per game this season. He creates shots for his teammates by utilizing his ball-handling skills and pace. When he plays at a higher tempo, he can get to the rim and drop it off, or kick it to the corner. If he’s playing at a slower pace, he can lull defenders to sleep and throw dimes to his forwards and cutting guards. Williams is also known for hustling and he can get to the rack as well.

was named my 3A MVP. He showcased his floor general skills all year long, and averaged 10.7 APG. He does a great job of keeping his eyes up when he is bringing the ball up. And he’s capable of making some slick passes. Williams can also get downhill with rock if the opportunity presents itself. On defense, Williams was a pest and frustrated his opponents often.

and Mater East Academy had Cohea on the ropes, but Cohea just barely pulled out the win. Despite the loss, Williams had a pretty good game and made some nice plays for the Knights. He used his speed on multiple occasions to get to the rack, and also knocked down a couple of 3’s. On defense, he was constantly pestering the Cohea PG and forced a few turnovers.

Williams is a player that has steadily improved throughout his career. A top 50 player in the state, many times his talents take a back seat to the Bigs on his team, make no mistake about it, he’s every bit as vital to the Knight’s success.
