On the other end of the court, he used his size and athleticism to protect the rim. The Mustangs truly had trouble getting get open looks and almost all of their lay-ups were contested thanks to Bass Jr. and Kendan Jones.

On offense, he was moving off ball to set himself up for open looks near the rim. The senior also got out in transition a few times and threw down 3 dunks over the course of the game. The big man was a late addition to the camp, and after settling himself down, he acclimated nicely to the conditions. He shot several threes, which isn’t his game, but showed that he needs to stretch the floor to keep defenders honest. Even when they weren’t he went to his bread an butter, rebounding at a high rate. His best performance was an 8 point 7 rebound effort for his Duke squad.
