Burke, playing with Drive Pro Select for the weekend, was fantastic against Waukee JAM CR on Saturday afternoon, showcasing his ability to impact the game in a major way on both ends of the floor with his blend of size, length, and athleticism. He was great throughout, but he had a four possession stretch in the second half in which he fired a pinpoint pass from the left block out to the right wing for an open 3, followed by a dunk on the next possession, a block after rotating over defensively, another block, and then capped it off with a beautiful drive and finish plus the foul from the top of the key. He’s still a bit raw offensively, but he is absolutely oozing with potential.

was a scoring machine against Ames. He lived in the paint throughout this game. His physicality as a driver very much stood out. Brody was elite at using his body to carve out driving lanes to the rim. His balance and fluidity with the ball in his hands made him a constant issue for Ames’s defense. He routinely blew by opponents and got to the rim, as well as backing down defenders and powering up through contests for tough and-one finishes. Brody displayed an ability to contort and bend his body while flying into defenders at the rim, and this skill produced many buckets in the paint for him throughout this game. His footwork in the paint was amazing and added to his scoring onslaught inside, allowing him to draw many fouls. His scoring threat made him receive lots of attention from off-ball defenders, and he was elite at making them pay when they came over to help. He threw many great passes right on the money while under duress, and overall displayed a high level of awareness and quick processing as a playmaker, creating many open looks for his team. He was also a menace on the defensive end in this game. He displayed fluid footwork on the perimeter, locking down opposing bigs and guards. He was a constant presence at the rim, blocking shots and making life tough for anyone who entered the paint. He also displayed an ability to get into the passing lanes and gaps for steals as well. Overall, a very impressive performance on both sides of the ball for

Burke is a long, bouncy forward who does a great job running the floor and using his athleticism to his advantage on both ends of the floor. He has a really good second jump that he uses to battle on the glass, tipping the ball until he’s able to corral it. In addition to his work on the glass, he showed improved ball-handling and playmaking abilities off the dribble, taking slower-footed defenders off the bounce and finishing above the rim.

lived in the paint versus Roosevelt. For his size, Brody is an exceptional downhill driver. In this contest, he got low and exploded off the dribble right to the paint continuously. Near the rim, he finished through contact at a high level and drew many fouls. He displayed flashes as a pick-and-roll ball handler and showed soft touch with his floaters near the lane. Defensively, he also had a great impact getting in passing lanes and blocking shots. Brody showed many flashes of his ability to create advantages in this game.
