Bringing the reach necessary to compete at the varsity stage, Connors has repeatedly shown he can hold up on help side rotations at the rim or along the perimeter. There is no doubt he is a pure shooter, converting 91% of free throw attempts and up above 40% from distance. His constant motor paired with the quick awareness to read the floor has allowed the sophomore guard to be a steady contributor early on with Fairview. An especially consistent guard within this class, Ochs has produced 10 or more points in all but one of his games, his consistency reading the floor makes him such a high floor complementary guard. He has continued to grow as a help side defender, getting more assertive walling off the lane, leveraging his wide reach. Serviceable as a spacer and backdoor cutter, the guard reads opponent tendencies quickly, decisive with his off-ball movements to pressure the defenses.
