Owen Blascziek of Lakeville North, senior. A 6-foot-1 guard who defended well this 17u season.
Omar Brown of Minneapolis North, a junior. One of the hardest working players I saw all spring and summer.
DJ Davis of Hopkins, a senior. Sixth man who was really good during the 17u season and had 16 in his team’s opener.
Jalen Dearring of Minnetonka, sophomore. Jalen has grown several inches but the quickness, feel, and skill are there. Just in a bigger frame.
Dongrin and Ngor Deng of Austin, juniors. Don’t cry too hard for the Packers losing Both Gach, the Deng brothers have been awesome for years. Varsity now.
Quinn Fischer of Esko, a senior. Quinn is a great defender, slashes to score, and is a very good shooter at 6-foot-3.
Nick Flottmeier of Totino-Grace, a senior. Nick is the steady hand PG that leads with ball movement and tough defense.
Keaton Heide of Wayzata, a junior. We’ve talked a lot about Beeninga, Galinson, and Paulson, but Heide is another guy that was really good this off-season.
John Henry of Eden Prairie, sophomore. By now you have heard a lot about this sophomore class at EP, and Henry is one that is very good but not chatted on as much.
Matt Hirschberg of Orono, a junior. A point guard behind Codute that really has impressed playing back-up minutes.
Ben Inniger of Armstrong, a senior. A trusted defender for the Falcons who has played a lot of roles and has improved his offensive skill.
Jackson Jangula of St. Cloud Cathedral, a junior. Jackson has some flashy skill as a playmaker and he’s become more consistent.
Matthew Johnson of Fergus Falls, a junior. One of the juniors in the state that is quickly rising up the charts as a top prospect.
Tyler Kemp of New Prague, junior. He’s a 6-foot-5 skilled player that can play several spots. Moving up the recruiting charts.
Zach Korba of Apple Valley, senior. A senior who will come off the AV bench and be a skilled, steady player.
Riley Mahlman of Lakeville South, freshmen. The big post just keeps growing and early high school reviews are excellent.
Ethan Matzke of Spring Grove, junior. Ethan has a lot of ability but he had a bad injury last year. If he is healthy he’s a top junior.
Marten Morem of Caledonia, a senior. The 6-foot-5 frontcourt player that put up 15 and five a game last year and can play several positions.
Maurice Nelson of Osseo, a senior. Nelson might be one of the best players returning to big school Minnesota hoops that remains kind of hidden. Good player.
Marcus Sims of North St. Paul, senior. He’s 6-foot-6, he’s a worker, and Marcus plays way bigger than his size because of his long arms.
Lorenzo Smith of Minnehaha Academy, a senior. Lots of names on this team but don’t ever forget to find Mr. Smith who can knock it down anywhere.
Eric Stai of Rochester JM, senior. The 6-foot-3/6-foot-4 forward is a worker and a guy that MIACs are starting to call.
Cameron Steele of Minnetonka, sophomore. Hit numerous threes in the opener as a 6-foot-6 underclassmen.
George Stewart of St. Thomas, a senior. Jack and Sam are the big names but George is back too after a 9/7 season as a 6-foot-5 junior.
