About DJ

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

Endorsement Coach Tyler Geving Head Coach Edmonds Woodway Ability: DJ is a great athlete who guards the other's teams best perimeter player. He does a great job of keeping these players in front of him and works hard on getting through off ball and on ball screens. As a PG, he does an excellent job of handling pressure from the other team and is able to use his athleticism to go by guys.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

From Tyler Geving Head Coach Edmonds Woodway Personality: DJ is a competitor and one of the hardest working kids I have coached in 27 years. He competes every day at practice and in games. He plays through injuries and competes no matter the situation. I would take a team full of DJ's every year and we would win a lot of games. He is a great teammate and puts the team first in every situation.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Karl’s a pretty fundamental guard who can run both guard spots thanks to his careful presence with the rock, and a sweet stroke from behind the arc. He’s got a great blend of patience, selflessness, and aggression that helps him fit into a variety of lineups. He’s tough too, and will play a big role for Edmonds-Woodway this season.
