College Commitment Update

The senior guard is looking to avenge a 1A title game loss last season and also has a good shot at being named 1A Player of the Year. As fate would have it, they were knocked out in the opening round of the state tournament the last two years by Camas. The Trojans secured the top seed at last year's state tournament but were knocked out after just two games at the Tacoma Dome. Now, they head into this season without last year's league MVP ([player_tooltip player_id='1451033' first='Jaylen' last='Petty']) and bump up to play in the NPSL 4A. He's been one of the biggest risers on the West Coast over the summer, which should not come as a surprise to anyone who has seen the two-time NPSL league MVP. He's been one of the better players east of the mountains for the last two years, earning second-team all-league last season.
