No Surprise Stock Risers
The season for most high school teams is only about a week old. These players have taken advantage every game so far this season and have solidified their ability to play at the next level.
Isaiah Pruett (Reynolds HS)-The 5-foot-9 point guard for AC Reynolds High School has put up 33, 30 and 25 points over the past three games. He is a scoring point guard that can knock it down from deep and can penetrate the defense to get the ball to the right teammate
Isaiah Pruettfor the easy score. He does a really good job at getting to the foul line and getting some of his points from the charity line. He can take over a game when he feels the need and can back off and get everyone involved. He is a strong defender that keeps his man in front and does a good job of getting deflections and steals.
Landon Henley (Tuscola High School)-The 6-foot-6 post is a skilled forward that can knock down mid-range to three-point shots consistently. He has a solid post game and with is size in the conference, he is a tough match-up. He has scored 31 and 27 points in his two games so far this season and has grabbed almost 30 rebounds through two games. He is a wide shouldered post that can bang down low and has a soft touch for shots around the rim.
Deacon Heath (Avery County High School)-The UNC-Asheville signee has came to play this season. The reigning conference player of the year scored 27 points in the season opener for Avery County HS this week. He is one of the best shooters in the state. He is hard to stay in front of and can score at will when he has to. He is tough, works hard and understands the game.
