-Parker was an intriguing watch throughout the week as an effective forward prospect that uses unorthodox timing on his step-through’s and spin moves in the post to create space to finish around the rim. I came away impressed with his motor—especially on the offensive glass— to create extra opportunities for his team. Parker did a great job of keeping the ball high, did his work early on the glass to come up with rebounds through double teams, slashed to the rim hard to serve as an effective cutter behind the defense, and showed great patience to stay down on pump fakes without missing opportunities to block shots around the basket. Loved that he played within himself as a late bloomer front court prospect with a ton of ranging interest throughout the three levels of Division 1. 

He’s still new to the game, but has shown himself to be a prospect for college coaches to check in on as he develops his game. He was a Pangos Frosh Top 60 Game participant. He’s long, a good court runner, stays in the middle of the court for now. He keeps the ball high after rebounding for points at the rim. He’s a good post passer. He has work to do offensively but can be a target setting up, and coming across the lane. He’s alert to block, and change some shots in the paint. We’ll continue to track his development.

The first thing we noticed is how Parker runs up, and down the court, good form, long strides, good speed, he tends to stay in the middle of the court looking to get a put back rebound, or receive a pass for a paint shot. Standing 6’7 he has some touch around the rim. He’ll work for rebounds, and use his length to be a distraction. He’ll get stronger, improve his footwork. He made the Top 60 game at Pangos All-West Frosh Camp.

They way he runs the court jumps out at you, long strides down the middle of the court. He’s standing 6’7, growing with square shoulders, and a frame to fill. No question he’s on an upward path with continued development. He’ll block, and change shots. He has the length and quick bounce to stuff it back in. He’ll have to remember to keep the ball up.
