The Expo: First Team All-Showcase

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>It has been about a week since the Prep Hoops Expo was held at the Hidden Valley Boys and Girls Club in Bellevue. We've worked through each team and player from the event and now it's time to reveal our All-Showcase picks. He was a killer scoring around the paint, working through, around, and over defenders to finish at the hoop or with the midrange jumper. And while he was ultra-aggressive attacking gaps, he also showed off some solid range from deep with some pull-ups in transition and made several nice outlets up the court to hit deep runners. Was very efficient around the paint and played with controlled aggression to get to good spots and finish. Showed good awareness from the point to shift defenses with his penetration and anticipate his options to pick out the right pass. Was able to focus in and hit tough shots in traffic, showed he was ready to attack on the catch with some immediate direction changes catching on the go, and was especially efficient finishing at the cup. Handled pressure well both inside and along the perimeter and was able to see the court and execute key passes. Was money from 3-point range and was excellent at sizing up his man then either shooting over the top with a quick release or getting a step and driving into the paint.
