Gerould has really evolved into a true wing that can play inside/out with the ability to finish above the rim. He has clearly worked on his game + really embraced the strength and conditioning work necessary to make yourself a high level prospect. This past weekend at Big Shots Charlotte Showtime, Gerould helped propel his Top Shot UAA 16U team to a championship with a 17 Point performance in the final game. Gerould is a truly dynamic above the rim athlete who floats in transition with really bad intentions. He will have multiple viral moments this spring/summer but is also more than just a dunker. Gerould has legit outside touch as he shot 36% from deep on the year at Carmel Christian. Gerould played more of a complimentary role at Carmel this past season but should be ready for more of a primary role next season after what is looking like a potential breakout type summer with Top Shot UAA 16u.

Hunter Gerould Hunter Gerould 6'5" | SF Carmel Christian | 2028 State NC is a prospect I was familiar with from his standout performance at the Prep Hoops Carolians Freshman Showcase. However, he looked even better on Saturday at the Phenom 336 Showcase. He knocked down four threes, showing an elite stroke in catch-and-shoot spots, but he also displayed tremendous athleticism with transition finishes and helpside rim protection. His length is also a key part of his game, as it allows him to force turnovers and contest shots.

Gerould is an emerging forward prospect to make note of at Gaston Day School in the NCISAA. He checks in at 30th overall and the No. 2 power forward prospect in the 2028 rankings debut. He’s listed at just 6-foot-5 but plays a lot bigger than that given his length and athleticism around the rim. He’s gotten his feet wet alongside Dyson Britt Dyson Britt 6'0" | CG Gaston Day | 2028 State NC in the Spartans rotation this season and is set for a productive spring/summer before a potential breakout sophomore season.

Gerould is a sizeable name to know out of Gaston Day School at 6-foot-5. He plays with a ton of energy on the floor, flying around for rebounds and altering shots with his length and athleticism. As he continues his development and shows he can step out and knock down shots on the perimeter at the forward spot, look for his name to grow in the 2028 class.
