I haven’t had the chance to see Mr. Mack hoop live since last summer, so I’m excited to see how his game has progressed and to gauge the athletic gains he’s made since then. There’s a lot to like about Mack’s overall game and versatility. He runs and jumps well, rebounds aggressively, and consistently finds ways to produce. Mack helped lead the Arrows to the State Tournament during a successful high school season and showed value on both ends of the floor. He’s a solid defender with an all-around skill set, and his versatility makes him an intriguing player to watch this weekend.

The Arrows were in upset mode on Friday night! Mack and Watertown hosted the Riders from Sioux Falls Roosevelt and the Arrows prevailed with a 71-68 victory. Jack made timely and momentous plays. His length and athleticism were shown.

-I like his length, Mack played w/ heart, NRG & high effort, plenty of hustle plays
-Plays hard, intense, got after it even when he was not going to get the ball
-Multiple AND1 finishes, scored after contact, he was aggressive to paint & rim
-Crossed up the defense via the bounce, also showed an impressive spin-move
-Had some nifty/creative scores at basket, I like his baby-hook & finishing touch

Jack brings a long body and wing span the floor that will frustrate any passer he plays against. Mack does a nice job of pushing the pace when it’s there, or finding the open teammate for the better look. Jacks’s ability to cast the long ball will be counted on a lot more often this season.
