The rising senior makes good decisions on the fly and can fit passes into tight windows with either hand off the bounce. Tañedo always pushes his team in transition and directs traffic, manufacturing paint touches and manipulating the defense to create the highest percentage look for his team. He has a great handle and finishing bag around the rim but I would like to see him add more strength to his base to body up and go through his matchup more often. He guarded his yard on the wing but also cleaned up his teammate's defensive mistakes by blocking shots in the paint. The blend of ball skills allow him to initiate the break or fill out the wing in transition while understanding how to get to spaces in the defense on or off the ball. His movement without the ball freed his teammates up with screens but the timed cuts led to a lot of easy looks in the paint for him to capitalize on. Tillman has the athleticism, frame, and aggressive mentality to become a lockdown defender in his senior season at St. Mary's Annapolis.
